So after periodically attempting to evaluate this game. faced with the very rarest of instances of it loading past the Enter the Multiverse title and repeating....

Opened Steam and downloaded it all over again. Started right up and plays fine.

Exit and try again later. Fine.

Opened Epic Games and removed the previous install.

The engineer in me wants to investigate the difference in binaries. cfg, ini files, file bug reports and email tech support. but yo the unpaid time accumulated from diagnosing and use casing this bug is already well into bill paying money already.

So like, I guess I'd recommend the steam version ... and junk... or something.

The game? Works, appears to do what is says on the tin, and more importantly seemingly will hoover money from the digital pockets of children's parents at a pretty shocking rate.

Yesterday it loaded unexpectedly 5 minutes before a long trip... I was able to finish the tutorial to unlock wonder woman and lose a 1v1 bot battle as Superman, to be fair the keyboard controls were uncomfortable and my right hand kept insisting it was in control of directions and not attacks. I had no time to configure and fiddle with controls and closed it and left.
Today, under no time constraints, controller in hand, ready to get fiddly with it for the last hour...
