Het staakt het vuren is een leugen
Israël voert vrijwel dagelijks aanvallen uit in de Gazastrook, de genocide is nooit beëindigt. Dit alles met steun van de Nederlandse regering, ook het nieuwe kabinet. Door bijv. wapens te kopen van Israël, die uitvoerig zijn getest op Palestijnen. Ook de Twentse industrie speelt een rol in de bewapening van Israël
Daarom gaan we zondag 15 februari de straat op. Om een einde van de Nederlandse steun aan genocide en erkenning van de Palestijnse staat te eisen.

The cease-fire is a lie.
Israel has continued launching attacks on Gaza. With support from the Dutch government, also the new cabinet. E.g. by purchasing Israeli made weapons, that have been extensively tested on Palestinians. The industry in Twente is also involved in arming Israel.
That is why, on Sunday februari 15th, we enter the streets once more. To demand an end to the Dutch complicity in genocide and recognition of the Palestinian state.

🔻 There is no peace without justice. The so-called ceasefire - which “Israel” repeatedly breaks without consequences - changes nothing for us in the West: we have to end our complicity, and do so immediately.
🔻 The UU is still collaborating with those institutions if occupation and settler colonialism who play a key role in executing the genocide and apartheid of Palestinians. This is simply unacceptable.
🔻 To take action against this, we will be liberating one of UU’s buildings from its complicit owners, and turning it into a space where discussion and action for Palestine can flourish.
🔻 Join us in this act of reclamation and resistance: come follow our program, help with some chores, or simply come study there. What is most important is that we are there, and are so together: as long as we are united, we will never be defeated!

Sit-in tegen genocide in Gaza

Wij willen geen muizenstapjes, we willen serieuze actie tegen genocide. Raise your voice!
Wat is een sit-in?
Een sit-in is een vorm van protest waarbij mensen op een drukke plek op de grond zitten of liggen.
Sinds november 2023 zijn er veel verschillende sit-ins gehouden op allerlei stations in heel Nederland. Hiermee wordt aandacht gevraagd voor de jarenlange systematische onderdrukking van Palestijnen, de huidige genocide in Gaza, en de medeplichtigheid van Nederland.
In Utrecht vinden de sit-ins om de week plaats, op donderdag.
Tijdens extra dringende situaties zoals nu is dat elke week.
