I finally did it. I finally pulled it off. I stabilized enough violet flux to craft the combined +100 carry weight mods for my X-01 power armor
In the process I accidentally woke up the Scorchbeast Queen…

Ground Zero between West Tek and Huntersville was a decent choice, paired with the Bloatfly Syringer strategy. Still a tediously extensive process to farm high-radiation fluids this way, but at least I finally got enough.
Unfortunately by the time I tracked down any glowing mutations in the blast zone—by bee-lining for the deathclaw on the ridge overlooking West Tek Research Center, which I knew would survive the blast—all my violet and fluorescent flux went inert and there weren’t any sources for them in the blast zone. So now I have to speedrun a silo yet again and pick a more suitable high-population site with all the right flora and… JFC
Watching the mushroom cloud rise on the horizon from Foundation though? Most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.

You know what? Solo speedrunning all three silos in one day really is too much. And I still fell short by exactly one unit of high-radiation fluids for the flux I needed to stabilize. Every ghoul in Morgantown let me down.

But the actual target is always such a tough choice…Still, my priority is to harvest a metric shit tonne of raw violet flux, with fingers crossed for enough horrific mutations along the edge of the blast zone so that I can also harvest sufficient stabilizers.
So I _think_ the border between the Mire and Cranberry Bog is the best choice.
Of course, Morgantown is pretty good too. And sooooo mannnnyyyy feral ghouls. Ah, I’ll nuke that again next from Site Bravo.
