The US Department of Justice has charged 14 people over an alleged digital fraud network.
Authorities say workers using false identities deceived more than 70 US companies, while the network generated about $3 million intended to fund North Korea’s government in violation of international sanctions.
The reported tactics included false reports of theft to get around employer checks.
