💔 The Road of Heartbreak winds through grief, shadows, and the ache of love lost—yet still whispers of hope ahead. 🌧️✨ #TheRoadOfHeartbreak #HeartbreakPoetry #PoetryCommunity #PoeticBipolarMind #EmotionalPoetry #LossAndHealing #Resilience

Ledge

It was a tense silence
trembling on the ledge
where you could hear a pin
drop
only there were no pins
save in a friend
thick
to be cut with a knife
only all the knives
were in your
back

Silence
like the calm before the storm
until it breaks like a
scream in the
night
and
rain
falls to the
ground.
