¿Puedo impugnar los Emmy? Nah. Pero sí voy, una semana después (no me da la vida), a poner unas notas en sus márgenes:
-De nuevo, esta 78 edición, pase lo que pase (lo importante es estar más que ganar), será la del imperio de la HBO. La competencia es amplia y variada pero para los de Warner siempre llueve sobre premiado.
-Con excepciones como Task, Industry o la t3 de Euphoria, merecidamente missing.
-Peor fue para Spider Noir, solo aspiranta a premios técnicos, lo que se lee en el sector como un recochineo. Y es que a Amazon no se le dan bien los premios, no empasta del todo en la industria.
-Aparte, las nominaciones de DTF St. Louis quedan raras al ser tan estratégicas (como efectivas): nominar al elenco a categorías secundarias solo puede ser leído así, querían rascar nominación, y lo hicieron a costa de aparcar pretensiones a premios de prota. Ojo: puede llevarse miniserie.
-Excelente elección de conductora de la gala. Mariska Hargitay viene de la tele en abierto, que sigue ahí haciendo telefilmes y series, fuera de plataformas. ¡Viva la tele!
-Mejor suerte -y muy inesperada- que Task recibió Vicios ocultos. Resulta que Your Friends & Neighbors sale mejor parada y me figuro que ni ellos saben el motivo. Yo tampoco, ahora que AppleTV es la némesis de Amazon, ahí sí saben crear obras y jugarlas en los premios, sin duda es la más interesante plataforma tras la HBO. Ejemplo: una de las series revelación, Widow’s Bay.
-Actriz de reparto: en comedia Hacks tira fuerte, aunque las actrices de Widow's y la Pfeiffer son muy largas. En drama tira The Pitt. En miniserie, quizá Fanning.
-Actor de reparto: parecido pero todo un poco más lacio.
-Actriz prota: la Smart es la Smart; en miniserie, Danes o Field; y en drama Rhea Seehorn.
-Actor prota: cuidao con Matthew Rhys (también en miniserie).
-Comedia: Hacks.
-Drama: Pluribus.
