Good morning, #WritingCommunity. If you're looking for a story that's #LGBT+ / #LGBTQIA+ and you're a fan of #TheWitcher, here I am. This week's been a lot, and I needed something soft, comforting, and semi-silly. This story was written for a good friend on Tumblr, who said this, "How much of a hopeless romantic would you have to be to go follow a man you just met on a journey then die for him, bruh."

Naturally, knowing me, a story happened.

Personally, I think we were robbed. We deserved to see a scene between Regis and Dandelion, so I took it upon myself to write it. Reunions are always a wonderful thing.

Expect humor and feels. I hope everyone enjoys this piece. x

Dandelion has some things to get off his chest when Regis shows up at his doorstep with a proposition. Geralt needs saving in Toussaint, and there's only one man who can talk any sense into Anna Henrietta.

This is just a little piece I'm writing for a friend on Tumblr. Stealing @therivercrow's idea about #WIPWednesday posts to share this with my Witcher-loving pals. It's just a snippet, of course.

This was my friend's prompt for a Geralt and Regis story: “How much of a hopeless romantic would you have to be to go follow a man you just met on a journey then die for him, bruh.”

I loved it, laughed a bit, and got to writing. As always, I'll post the full story here once it's finished. Keep in mind this isn't even edited yet. More will be added to this bit too, I'm sure.

I love everything about this post. A friend of mine sent it to me and it had me laughing. In a good way, of course.

I've always either imagined Peter Cushing or Christopher Plummer as our dear Regis. It's a toss-up between the two of them, I swear.

What's even wilder is that said friend sent me another post where one of the game developers commented and basically confirmed that they had Peter Cushing in mind for Regis. That blew my mind. And it's funny because now that's two characters I adore... Emmrich was created with him in mind as well. 🔥

Geralt is pulling at loose threads to untangle the mess that this mystery in Toussaint has become, all while Regis shows up with Dettlaff to Orianna's residence. He's beyond livid, and a confession needs to be made in the aftermath.

(This particular piece takes place during "The Man from Cintra" quest, after the Mandragora party is over and Geralt is at Orianna's table with her, the duchess, Dettlaff, and Regis.)

Still laughing about this. I have had so many messages on Tumblr and AO3 about people wanting a crossover story for Astarion x Regis. The ideas (and readers) just won't let me rest. Also, the sass (and angst) between these two would be off the charts.

I'm going to make a prediction here... In five months or somewhere around there, I'll have started it. Just a guess. I have other WIPs to finish first.

While this story revolves around the relationship between Orianna and Regis, it also includes all of the other beloved characters. I've been adoring writing this one. It was a Tumblr prompt from a friend, and it's evolved all on its own. I love this pairing. There's obviously history there between them, and the story took on a life of its own.
