Aug 7, 2026 @ 17:14 Good afternoon family & friends❣️ Another hot day, still have the crud, kids have been here. We took them out to lunch, and Lyra finished up the closet project. Maisie's foot is much more painful, though it doesn't look worse, but she isn't putting any weight on it though yesterday she could run on it. I have been in touch with our great vet and we have a plan for the weekend in case Maisie has to have more treatment before Monday. (For those who don't know, Maisie is on a holistic diet and had some of Bojack's kibble last week, which caused her to chew half of her right metacarpal pad off - literally - including 3 deep holes into it overnight on Friday, we took her to the ER Vet on Saturday, and she had an appointment yesterday with her vet for shots and biannual bloodwork anyway so I was happy to have our vet have a look and recommendation too. She's been treated and medicated since last Saturday.) I will be taking the girls home shortly I think, and then going to bed, so I will see you tomorrow, every night I hope that when I wake up the crud will be gone, maybe it will be tomorrow!
