I watched #EmeraldCity, mostly because it was directed by #Tarsem. But although some of the images are splendid, it can't compare with "The Fall" on that level. The story was the weak spot there as well, but in this case it's more egregious. I didn't hate it, but IMO it's not worth the effort.

I'm sure this won't be a Dr. Who/Oz crossover, but I'm reading *The Emerald City of Oz* right now and the Goblin King is a great character and would totally fit on Dr. Who, and his Stewards, Chancellors, and Generals make perfect double acts, almost right out of the Robert Holmes playbook.

I've been getting up at 5AM to get used to beating the heat, anticipating this summer, to walk my shih tzu. He doesn't handle hot weather very well. I am feeling a little bleary eyed!
