Elvis Presley died at his home in Graceland, Memphis, Tennessee on August 16, 1977 - 49 years ago. Elvis was just 42 years old when he had a fatal heart attack at his mansion. Elvis was found dead lying on the floor in his bathroom by his girlfriend Ginger Alden, he had been seated on the toilet reading 'The Scientific Search For Jesus'.
