James Gunn has confirmed "The Batman" director Matt Reeves' Arkham Asylum series will be set in the new DCU, while sequels to "The Batman" and "Joker" are part of the Elseworlds universe. Reeves' series centered around Colin Farrell's Penguin from "The Batman" is apparently part of Elseworlds as well.

#GothamByGaslight doesn't have the Elseworlds imprint on the book but was designated as the first due to its success. And the #MikeMignola art and #BrianAugustyn #RobertBloch story is killer (pun intended🤣)
