I spent 2+ hours on the phone with Freedom Scientific because I cannot get #JAWS #screenReader to figure out when to read with the #English (#US) voice and when to read with the #Spanish voice. There are three options for language detection: markup, text-based, and AI. I found a Spanish voice (Juan) that I was okay with, and I can manually switch, but that's a *lot* of extra work.
They tried to tell me that the #eloquence voice had all the #languages, but we couldn't make that work, either.
I'm trying to take Elementary Spanish because I need two semesters of an intermediate level language for my communications major.
This exhausted me for the rest of today.
