#CurrentlyReading This is a pretty good read if you're into #TheCars. Most everyone who had anything to do with the band is interviewed. Love the chapters about the early years when #RicOcasek + #BenjaminOrr were ambitious but kinda rootless and unfocused. Also some insights into the industry's transition from bloated 1970s arena rock to garish 1980s video rock. Kinda interesting scrapbook documentary about #TheCars here. It looks amateurish, but apparently it's an official release, produced by #RicOcasek in 2006. Some good live footage, but could have used more of #ElliotEaston on guitar. Backstage footage kinda drags. Goes to show they were shiny and modern on the surface, dirty and noisy underneath.
