I'm playing Elite Dangerous and found a "simple" delivery job paying 300k, and the delivery system was only 3 jumps away, so I took it.
I'm in the target system and speeding to the destination. I'm going 1450c (c = speed of light, and I'm still accelerating) and have been traveling for about 10 minutes. I still have another 30 minutes before I arrive!!
No wonder the price was so high!

@jynersolives I love #EliteDangeous Always will going back to Elite 1,2,3, later JJFFE, and Oolite. I still play, though not as frequent (RL stuff). But I keep coming back and the 600 jumps home would rake major exploration data & credits.
When I travel in RL, I try to make the trip itself part of the vacation as much as the destination. Country restaurants, vineyards, quaint villages. Some things in ED do grind (engineering), but others are part of the game.
