    Robert Redford war mein ganzes Leben einfach immer da. Er ist ja nur wenige Jahre jünger als mein eigener Vater. Das heißt auch, dass seine Karriere so lang war, wie mein Leben. Da entsteht dann schon so was wie eine eben lebenslängliche Beziehung – auch wenn die natürlich nur eine Dimension kennt. Nämlich jene des Zuschauers. Ich habe ihm wirklich immer gerne zugesehen. Bis ganz zuletzt. Sein letzter Film. (ARD, Wh.)
