Okay, werde jetzt mal schauen, was das Plus-Modell für Audacity bringt. Da ich weiterhin Podcasts schneide, habe ich mir ein Profil mit 96 Audacity-Befehlen geladen und werde mir die 10 - 15 "alltagstauglichsten" auf Buttons und Drehregler legen.
Nutzt jemand von Euch das bereits für Audacity?

Die Semester-Seminare liegen in Ordnern. Die begleitenden Moodle-Kurse werden als Links eingepflegt. Da Vivaldi Moodleseiten als PWAs (nicht nur als Verknüpfung) speichern kann, öffnet sich entsprechend eine ablenkungsfreie Ansicht.

Elgato Stream Deck
Einige haben sich ja dafür interessiert, was man mit einem Stream Deck machen kann. Ich denke, ich werde ab und zu mal ein Beispiel bringen.
Hier wird mit der Taste ein Skript ausgeführt (Win = Powershell, Linux = Bash), das kurze Einfälle in ein Markdown-Journal schreibt. Blendet sich kurz ein und ist dann gleich wieder verschwunden. (Die MD-Datei wird bei der Ausführung nicht angezeigt - hier geöffnet, um den Workflow zu illustrieren.)

Und für die Obsidian-Freunde gleich noch einen Tipp zum Stream Deck: Da jede Notiz über einen eigenen Link verfügt, kann dieser einfach in die Aktion "Webseite" gezogen werden - so hat man seine aktuellen Projekte zur Hand.

About OBS not selecting raw BGR format correctly on my Elgato Game Capture 4K X: I've found out that it only has that problem if I plug it in a USB 4 port (directly or indirectly via a dock).
If I plug it in a USB 3.2 gen 1 or 2 port on any device, it works.

My new browser based tool for creating perfect slices/tiles for Stream Decks + and XL+ that I coded with help from A.I. works quite well! With a press of a button the 4 (#StreamDeck +) or 6 (Stream Deck XL+) "button" tiles are directly sent over to your #Bitfocus #Companion 5 instance so you can see if the effects and settings work for you. – No, it's not (yet) released or been made public and maybe never will. But you know how to use you preferred A.I. tool to bake something similar! 😉 #elgato

Got myself an Elgato Game Capture 4K X and tried it on my Linux machine and it basically works.
One problem I noticed, however, is that when I set the video format to raw BGR in OBS, the format is clearly MJPEG instead when I look at the output (obvious compression and chroma subsampling). Other formats get set correctly.
Using raw BGR works in ffmpeg at least (after rotating it 180° because it's upside down for some reason)

4K/60 gameplay video capture on Linux to be honky dory smooth 🎞️ 😍
It used to be iffy - USB UVC capture devices enumerated wrong (or exposed the wrong modes).
Elgato's popular 4K X card officially only for old world operating systems Windows and macOS so they do not care at all.
Linux community worked on its spectacular own; a bug report was filed for that the card stubbornly fell back to lesser gbps - Johannes Bruederl took it and wrote a fix.

Как я уже писал в своей прошлой статье, дурная голова рукам покоя не даёт. Так что не прошло и месяца после завершения работы над звонком, как руки уже начали чесаться. И занятие им нашлось достаточно быстро... Я пользуюсь MAD CATZ S.T.R.I.K.E. 7, которая всем чудо как хороша, кроме того, что вышла больше 10 лет назад, её производитель обанкротился в 2014 и её софт на Win 11 уже надо ставить с бубном. Все мы смертны, клавиатуры - тем более, так что я стал задумываться над заменой. Но проблема в том, что я привык к россыпи макроклавиш, которые позволяют одним нажатием, не задействуя мозг, переключать ветки гита, исправлять криво введённые команды или вбивать пароли в окошки по 15 раз за день (о боги хаоса, как я "люблю" параноиков-безопасников). А современные клавы имеют в лучшем случае 4-5 макроклавиш (что вдвое меньше, чем нужно), а некоторые ещё и стоят как приватный остров. И тут в унынии я наткнулся на это...

Elgato Stream Deck hat die Smartphone-App auf Freemium umgestellt! Mit 12 Buttons (= 2 x 6) lassen sich so PC-Operationen, Makros usw. auslösen. Unter iOS lassen sich die Funktionen mit Sprachbefehlen verknüpfen.
(Umstellung vielleicht schon länger her, aber heute durch Zufall entdeckt - früher gab es nur Abo, das meist unnötig ist.)
