One of my criteria when I bought this printer was offline capability as I saw where #Bambu was going.

I made sure there was a usb interface and I was pleasantly surprised my #elegoo #neptune had web services and I can control it just fine with no internet. Which was my original point. So..bonus.

If you want to diy, look into #Voron designs, RatRig, ProForge 300 and others.

HOWEVER if you just want a printer that works, from a company that won't fuck you over, buy a #Prusa. Period. Their attempts at OSI-non-compliant licenses are a piss in the ocean compared to what #BambuLab, #Creality, #FlashForge, #Elegoo, #Anycubic and even #Sovol have been done or are still doing (to be fair, with Sovol it's mostly trashy customer support).

Druk 3D to taki przywilej! Kupiłem sobie nowy mieszek oraz gałkę zmiany biegów do mojego #subaru. Ani jedno, ani drugie nie pasowało. Ale wymyśliłem, że mogę zbudować adapter nakręcany na drążek, do którego przykręcę zarówno mieszek, jak i gałkę. Trochę dłubania z Claude, zabawy z pomiarami, doborem parametrów wydruku i udało się pożenić ze sobą te dwa elementy. Bez drukarki 3D kompletnie nie byłbym w stanie założyć ani jednego, ani drugiego

I saw this Elegoo Neptune 4 pro 3d printer at a local auction, with almost 11 roles of filament (PETG), & Creality drying box - Not that I really need yet another printer - but I got the whole thing for $65 bucks, I really was just interested in the drying box, and filament the tote is also a dry box. I think I got a really really good deal.

Nachdem ich auf dem #elegoo #neptune4plus die #opensource firmware #opennept4tune installiert habe, bekomme ich das warping Problem nicht in den Griff (der Bug am 3D-Benchy, Klassiker).

Details im Blog, inkl. Settings und Video vom wegfliegenden Boot. Vielleicht hat ja jemand im Fediverse ne hilfreiche Idee...

I'm using the #OrcaSlicer on #Linux #Mint for my #Elegoo #CentauriCarbon but it's very flaky in connecting to the webcam. Webcam works reliably if I open a browser window on the printer IP address. Anyone else seeing this issue?

I've solved the noise problem of my #Elegoo #CentauriCarbon by moving the printer into my bedroom - I can barely hear it now :-)

Just in case anyone else stumbles across the official guide to set up #PrusaSlicer and derivatives (#SuperSlicer,...) for the #Elegoo Neptune 4 series (https://wiki.elegoo.com/machines/neptune/maintenance/neptune-4-series/prusaslicer-parameter-configuration-import-tutorial), and wonders where the download for the ini files went:

I don't know exactly what happened to my #3dprinting on my #elegoo #neptune4 , but recently I've had a very good experience - just turn on, upload+print and forget about it.

First layer adhesion is good, minimum stringing, no layer warping, overhangs have reasonable supports, the models look good (compared to what I had in the beginning).

Is it bias in model selection (instinctive "this would print good/bad"), is it the hundreds of profile tweaks, new bed and diy enclosure finally paying off?
