Well after getting my new Mac mini, I've been in the throes of #Reaper configuration. Copying all the project and render folders, vsts, config file, etc.

It's not happy yet, freezes every time I try to bring up a project which was started on the old mac. The paths are different (though I did update them in the prefs).

I suspect finding all the little bugaboos will take days. Oi.

It happened a couple days ago, but I ordered my first modern synth. Gonna use it with some music making, but I'm also gonna use it for streaming and trolling kids in CoD lobbies.

I would have gotten my PSR-41 hooked up to my setup, but my studio is too small to have it in there with everything else currently. A micro synth on the other hand I can put on my very large desk

Hi #Fediverse i'm back! Did you miss me? :-) I'm a totally blind #ElectronicMusician making #Grime #Techno #Jungle feel free to ask me anything :-)

Kvetching Like An Old Lady Dept: #Keyboard magazine and #ElectronicMusician were the two major mags here in the #US that catered to, you guessed it- keyboardists and...musicians that use electronics (meaning not just strictly electronic musicians), which is pretty much everyone. It's been years now and those two foci in the muso marketplace have rather fragmented coverage. Some of the old crew write and do reviews at #SynthAndSoftware : https://synthandsoftware.com/in-this-issue

Kinda proud of this photo. I took every extra cable & mic we have & hung them in the basement. Though You can’t see em all cause gave it a vignette. @elise.slope114 doesn’t only pose with microphones for the internet. She’s a veteran singer songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area 1/2 of @slope114 !
PS: I’m still not a real photographer! I’m just lucky to live in a time when this is easy.

We don’t use sample packs or plug ins. We use our big old synthesizer. We don’t sell our tracks on the popular DJ download stores. I believe that turning art into competition isn’t good for the mental health of artists. So we use bandcamp. This is not a diss to anyone at all. This is just self promo/ the way we do things, a little different than most. #slope114 #housemusic #musicproducer #sergemodular #modularsynthesizer #electronicMusician

#introduction I'm a #composer, #electronicmusician and #fullstackdeveloper. Ideal work: 80% composing for #film / #documentary, 20% programming. Overall interests: science, anything physics, gardening, hiking, building stuff, architecture, movies, aesthetics, #visualart, #gourmet #cooking, fiction, family time. These many things are a way of experiencing the world and deriving meaning from it. I've lasted quite a while and so I know shit and really like being me. Cheers to all my fellow humans.
