Man, I can definitely appreciate that the tech folks had a vision for the #EldenRing run at #SGDQ2026, but good lord did they ruin the viewing experience by forcibly shifting perspectives every 5 seconds between the runners. I doubt they'll do it, but I wish they'd release an uninterrupted cut of the run without the frantic switching between screens.
It's a shame, because otherwise they've done a lot of fun things this year! This just flopped, IMO.

Finally got Dung Eater as an ash... or puppet. He's pretty good I guess. Almost as tanky as the Mimic Tear in my current gear. The puppet ash doesn't make a noise when attacking unlike the invader variant.
I also got the Fingerslayer Blade now. It's what Ranni told me to find. I'mma take a nap irl then I'll continue with the Ranni's storyline when I wake up

Sure it was hard. We had to collect Scadutree Fragments and Revered Spirit Ashes.
So for SOTE NG+, I'll spend my time learning everything, about the characters, what the hell is going on there and stuff, while also collecting things I've missed.
I think Leda will just eventually become an enemy near the end of the DLC no matter what I do, but me and my cousin were breezing through so I didn't have time to learn about the lore.

Actually when I think about it, this is my third playthrough. I helped my cousin throughout his first playthrough.
He breezed through the game and missed a lot. He went for the age of stars ending though.
It didn't really feel like a playthrough though. I was sort of in an autopilot on the base game when we were co-oping, but the game got interesting on the DLC. We both progressed but we sort of breezed through it as well

I don't suffer as much with the bosses. In fact I'm just fucking around with them, except when fucking around doesn't work anymore and I die a lot, like the draconic tree sentinel guarding the gate just before Leyndell.
Anyways I'mma start playing the game now in a bit.

Basically I tried to bring the best out of everybody on my first playthrough that's why I think I got like 170 hours and I was around level 180 when I started the DLC. That's also why I felt so heavy with emotion trying to beat the Elden Beast and after a few days just broke down and cried, haha.
I can't believe that happened but ig that's what happens when you engage with the game and spend your time with it, aside from suffering with the bosses.

Oh yeah Blackguard Big Boggart and Dung Eater was alive in my first playthrough. I went for the Golden Order ending cos I thought that was the best ending. Iji was alive too but I killed Blaidd the half wolf. since he went insane after I finished Ranni's quest.
Sorry furries, but a bear's gotta defend himself. I will finish Ranni's questline and... unfortunately he will die again. Quicker this time since I'm like level 249 or something now.

Those bears are on the DLC. They're both boss fights. Elden Ring DLC's pretty fucking hard if you're not actively looking out for Scadutree Fragments.

I got all of them though. There were 20 scattered around Shadow Realm along with 10 Revered Spirit Ashes. Took a while but it was worth it.

I used to avoid killing these big guys on my first playthrough. Even if they're attacking, I'd just sprint away. Idk. I just feel guilty killing bears even in video games.
After defeating Ralva and Rugalea though, I've gotten neutral to these. I now kill if these things hit me

My headcanon is that the worldline of my playthrough sort of combined with my cousin's.
Anyway we stopped on Dreg Heap on my world. I'm thinking of fixing my save file but I'm gonna play Elden Ring and start my second playthrough.
There's a lot of places that are memorable to me in that game. Most of them were the places I happened to be on where people are genuinely cheering me on to continue.
