"And the last shall be...", Well, not first, but also not the last of the El Chorro vids despite being the last climb of the trip (I just be out here making reels as I come to them...). Thoroughly enjoyed the trip with gret company (thanks for the belay, Robin) and a fun climb, but my brain was definitely flagging by this point; behold the terrible footwork!

Nearing the end of our Spanish climbing trip. This was from yesterday, "Three Sixty", a 120m multipitch at Coral East not far from El Chorro. (So-called because of the 360° view that you're rewarded with from the summit ridgeline, and there's a fun abseil off the back!) This is my first experience of sport climbing, and it's been a lot of fun. I think I probably still prefer British Trad, but you can't argue with the weather! #Climbing #SportClimbing #ElChorro #Spain

It gets serious: Starting from 20 March the new Civia services will run between Málaga and El Chorro.
As reported, two existing Álora Cercanías trains per day will be extended as "Proximidad" services to/from El Chorro. Additionally the existing MD services stopping at #ElChorro can also be used at the cheaper #Proximidad fare.

Great news from #Andalusia 🇪🇸 The wonderful #CaminitoDelRey can soon be visited much easier. The best way to get to the hiking trail is by train on the Málaga-Bobadilla line. The problem: the access station #ElChorro is currently only served by MD trains, reservation compulsory.
But starting from March 2023, two daily Cercanías (commuter) services from/to #Malaga will be extended to El Chorro.
