I've started watching Eizouken at last so here are some drawings I made some time ago (?).

Finally catching up on post-anime Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken. Six volumes of manga have been released in the US, the third ending where the anime did. Chapter 28 in volume four sees the crew working on their next major production.

Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! is a gorgeous love letter to anime that's resonated deeply with neurodivergent fans, who found representation in Asakusa Midori.
Patricia C. Baxter explores the series and Asakusa's role as a neurodivergent icon.

You know why it's Asakusa-shi rather than Asakusa-chan or Asakusa-chan?
~shi (〜氏)
A very polite and general suffix that is often used in formal writing and very often heard on the news. The stereotypical otaku will refer to their otaku-comrades with ~shi. -
NGL I really like and I'm really excited for #Eizouken because instead of focusing on depressing parts of being an artist it emphasizes wild imagination and beauty of creative process in itself.
And it really matters to me because life bench-presses your creativity greatly (do what you have to do so your viewers are happy, self-doubt etc) that seeing something so indulgent is refreshing and inspiring. It makes me wanna create as well
