With #Eir forcing me to repeat over and over again my complaint with their service, & how their response has been unacceptable, & going through the formal complaint process only for them to tell me yet again there is nothing more they can do (note: there is something more they can do) - by the time it came to my final call with them it felt so liberating to tell them that my follow up complaint with Comreg (the regulator) will be escalated if they don't fix their shit by tomorrow.

I made a formal complaint to Eir that their systems are inadequate and they should not be operating in the marketplace.
The “resolutions” person I spoke to said he would raise the issue with their “transformations” team.
Case closed.
I’m minded to complain to the regulator. I don’t think the Irish consumer should have to put up with poor service.

Now on 5 follow-up calls.
4th to cancel order for TV service as Eir failed to deliver equipment
5th to enquire how I may return said non-received equipment to avoid a 100€ fee as per letter reveived today.
I’m seeing the funny side as this is exactly how I expected the cancellation process to play out.
Looking forward to my 6th follow-up call when I receive my bill in the New Year

Lies, damned lies and statistics
Four weeks ago I upgraded my Eir package. As it was a sales call the customer service person was very helpful. In closing the call, they requested that I fill in a short survey to review the interaction. I usually ignore these surveys but against my better judgement I gave them a glowing five star review.
Four weeks and three follow-up calls later for non-delivery of new equipment, surprise surprise no one is asking me to fill out a survey!
