Hyvää äitienpäivää! 💐 Nyt olikin sopiva päivä ajella ensimmäistä kertaa nurmikko ja trimmerillä siistiä loput. Our Sunday allotment trip was a mixed affair today.
It was very pleasant in the sun and we got a lot done.
But my strimmer motor burnt out - I was wondering what the smell was!
I'm increasingly unimpressed with Einhell tools. This is the second strimmer of theirs that's died. The other one seems to be a relay that's not working, but how to get into the gubbins?
I've hurt the card and ordered a DeWalt replacement. Hopefully paying for a quality tool will save money in the long term (ha!)
The charger and batteries were a significant extra cost.
But the strimmer does get a lot of hard use there.It's only money....

This is a game-changer!
For years I've been fighting a losing battle against Rhododendron ponticum, an invasive species that unfortunately thrives in the #Highlands.
Tackling the rhoddies with either a bushman saw or standard chainsaw is difficult, dangerous, and very time consuming. The rhoddies twist, turn, loop, and root when branches touch the ground. This makes them difficult to cut.
My new #Einhell one-handed chainsaw is ideal for cutting rhoddies. The tide has turned.

Habe tatsächlich ein paar mehr Geräte von #Einhell 🙈
Ich kann den Staubsauger hier empfehlen, eine der besten Anschaffungen der letzten Jahre. Reinige damit regelmäßig unsere Autos.

Deiner ist dann wohl etwas größer. 🙃
Das #Einhell Ding hat auch eine Automatikfunktion, wobei ich der Anzeige nicht ganz traue, ich denke +-0,1 bar Abweichung hat das bestimmt.

Kenn sich jemand mit #Einhell #Gartenpumpen aus? Meine GC-DP 6538 macht pfeifende/quietschende Geraeusche. Nicht konstant (eher immer so 5-30 Sekunden, dann aehnlich lange Pause), nicht sehr laut, aber dennoch laut und nervig genug, dass eine Unterhaltung in der Naehe eher schwierig wird.
Das Handbuch gibt im Fehlersuchplan nix zu pfeifenden Lauten von sich. Jemand eine Idee? Auseinandernehmen, reinigen? Unwucht suchen? Defekt?

#Einhell Service für gut befunden.
Hab jetzt echt schon einige Geräte von Einhell und bin super zufrieden. Für meinen Gebrauch genau das Richtige und der größte Plus Punkt ist echt dass ein Akku für Alles gibt.

Aggiungo tuttavia che pure sulle #batterie prima o poi ci dovrà essere una qualche convergenza di #standard.
Non è possibile, per esempio, avere utensili con le batterie 18V #Makita incompatibili con le #Parkside o le #Einhell, e via così: ogni costruttore vende le sue che differisce ESCLUSIVAMENTE per la slitta di inserimento, ma dentro le #celle sono tutte IDENTICHE #18650 da 3,7 V.Questa cosa nel 2023 DEVE FINIRE, BASTA 😠

Sono al terzo #adattatore per pacchi batteria 18V che devo STAMPARMI in casa in PLA solo perché gli attacchi #Parkside sono incompatibili con #Einhell, che sono incompatibili con #DeWalt, che sono incompatibile con #Makita etc etc. CHE PALLE e che SPRECO E INQUINAMENTO!
Ma possibile che l'#Europa non riesca ad IMPORRE cose cosi' ELEMENTARI come uno STANDARD per queste cose?
E' come se ogni costruttore facesse il suo #USB...

@glsk I looked on AliExpress and there are replacement cells/packs available but the price was same/more than the new 12v #Einhell Li-io drill I just bought! Still, if it can be done for ~€20 odd, it's probably worth it although the old drill is ~2004 so probably not better or much more powerful than the new one anyway...
