#eighthgrade tender coming-of-age drama about an anxious teenager. Touching and on point with its inclusion of social media but a little too spacious for me. I thought for the runtime, it could have packed in more observations and investigations into the characters. Probably perfect for what it sought to achieve, but the pacing was too airy for me.
