Peril at Pincer Point was tremendous fun, absolute Indie, made on a shoestring with mates approach, paying homage to Roger Corman. For those of us who loved quirky Indie works like Hundreds of Beavers.

I went to the opening film of the Film Festival, The Incomer.

I loved it. It was charming, magical and moving. The three leads were excellent.

Strongly recommended! It's on general release from 4 September.

I love the fest, but I do wish they would leave a bigger gap between posting the programme & taking bookings (tomorrow morning!) so I had more time to see what I want, check screening clashes etc (have asked many times over the years, but they stick with this approach, unlike the other festivals here)
