Early up and out, now I‘m tired again. But it was worth running in a perfect sub-20-degrees weather. I even caught some good glances of the #willibaldsburg in #eichstaett during the run — and took pictures! One of my swifter runs during this fall/winter season. Apart from one 2 km climb up from #Eichstaett to #Pieting it was an overwhelmingly flat run. Chill factor was high at the start and low at the end (4 kms in the blazing sunlight). My audiobook was entertaining, I was in good spirits. Now there‘s only 68 kms left until #10000in2025 – yay! Today‘s morning run went past this Roman fort near the small town of #Pfuenz in #Bavaria (close to #Eichstaett ). It was such a lovely sight, I had to stop several times while approaching the location for pics from different angles. Timing and light were just right. I really like these pics. #Running #iPhone16ProMax
