The dam impounds about 3 ha of land when full and can store 325 thousand cubic meters of water. The construction of the dam was started on 1953 and completed in 1956.

  8. I had the chance to see dolphins in the Seto Inland Sea twice. Both times where the same summer (2019) and it was only two of them (where they the same? I can't tell). 30 to 50 is impressive. I hope they come over here (although the seaweed fields have been planted in my neighborhood, it may not be safe for them)
