Such idealistic category is, itself, hopelessly bound up in that material fetter of social contract which must instead be object of critique—not choices, but promises that govern such.

Among those choices, #KayfabePanto: electoralist boosterism as morality play.

2. To come of age in #RentierSociety is to grow up never learning that to do a bad thing is not the same thing as to be a bad person.
Thus the moralistic frame that good people don't do bad things: only bad people do bad things. A world populated by white-hats & black-hats.
The #EgoValue wrapped up in that is profound. Leftists ain't immune, thus can find self-critique eludes them—as that would undermine one's sense of moral self.
