La Federazione europea dei giornalisti smette di pubblicare contenuti su X
“Non possiamo continuare a partecipare al feed del social network di un uomo che proclama la morte dei media e quindi dei giornalisti... X è una piattaforma che non serve più l'interesse pubblico, ma gli interessi ideologici e finanziari particolari del suo proprietario e dei suoi alleati politici”.
L'EFJ rappresenta oltre 295.000 giornalisti in 44 Paesi.

Le 10 octobre dernier, la #justice belge a interdit au journal #LeSoir et aux médias du groupe #Rossel de publier un article concernant un acte de procédure judiciaire visant un candidat aux élections communales. Une autre procédure en cours, initiée par la ministre belge de l’Intérieur, vise à supprimer des archives du groupe #Sudmedia sur un épisode du scandale de corruption #Qatargate et à empêcher les #médias du groupe d’utiliser ces informations à l’avenir. Quelques semaines plus tôt, le Tribunal de l’entreprise francophone de #Bruxelles s’était déclaré compétent pour juger de l’éventuelle censure d’une enquête de la #RTBF avant diffusion. La #FédérationEuropéenneDesJournalistes (#FEJ) se joint à ses affiliés en Belgique, l’#AssociationDesJournalistesProfessionnels (#AJP) et #VlaamseVerenigingVanJournalisten (#VVJ), pour dénoncer ces décisions judiciaires qui s’apparentent à de la censure préventive, interdite par la Constitution. “The Italian journalists’ union, at the initiative of its Campania branch, presented Julian #Assange with an FNSI membership card. The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) passed on the initiative to its affiliates in Europe: 18 of them decided to follow the Italian example and grant Julian Assange membership (or honorary membership) of their organisations.
