It seems to me that it's best for the government to just go with the flow, enjoy the world, maintain our stability, and engage in politics and democracy while doing what is best at the moment, including being friends with both China and the US, Australia, and the countries you mentioned. Yes, better training with them than doing nothing. We are a relatively new country, lacking in many resources, knowledge, and ideologies, and we have been exploited. Doing this as “Vietnam EEZ” vs “Philippine EEZ” is exactly what China wants to happen. Divide, make them weak, have back channelled agreements with each.
Overlapping EEZ between ASEAN members should be elevated as a Common EEZ. Either as an ASEAN EEZ or only for those nations impacted. We can share it amongst ourselves. Patrol and protect it together. Stand united against China.

It can remotely control most SCPI enabled instruments (for example Rigol oscilloscope) and fetch screens or waveform data (and do some analysis on it) into journal-like session which is locally stored (in sqlite db) so you can have complete history of the measurements, comments and attached files while developing a project. It's developed by folks behind the amazing and open source #BenchBox3 power supply
