I don't want Gemini 😤 if I like scrolling insta, YouTube, Libby and pikmin bloom, which #MobileOS should I try for my #pixel6? A #linux one, like #ubuntu or #mobian? Not a fan of #eelo need for email, just got into #proton. I see that #grapheneOS and #calyxOS could be good, but I'm trying to stay away from the conspiracy side of #privacy.

Something I've been a bit concerned about for a while is the /e/ app store, I don't trust the apps on it really so I decided to test if they were clean

I downloaded Fennec from both the /e/ app store and F-Droid and verified the hashes and as it ends up they were both clean, that doesn't mean the /e/ app store is totally trustworthy but it's still good to know it's probably safe

- Pas d'accès root out-of-the-box
- Pas de contribution upstream vers LineageOS
- Remplacer Google Play par /e/ app-store n'est pas un gros progrès
- Le DNS par défaut dans /e/ ? (Google…)
- Si QKSMS corrige une faille de sécurité, il faut attendre qu'/e/ propage la correction dans leur version renommée Message (idem Mail = K9, Accountmanger = DavDroid)
- /e/ est un intermédiaire marketing…

Finally back on mobile !! Learning the new phone and hopefully the alerts and notifications work as expected 😃 😃 #eelo #galaxys9 this is a really cool mobile experience. Once DAVx5 was installed it synced up readily to fastmail and sdf nextclouds.

Time for Ebay to help make my google free dream a reality. Just ordered a refurbished essential ph-1 which should have an unlocked bootloader and is supported by the #eelo http://e.foundation and also #lineageos that's right two google free options. ETA is Saturday
