  1. Pew Research finds a stark economic divide in teen AI use: students from families earning under $30,000 rely on AI for most schoolwork at nearly triple the rate of wealthy peers (20% vs 7%). This isn't about cheating - it's about access inequality, as low-income teens turn to AI chatbots to replace tutors and test prep their wealthier classmates can afford.

  5. : The work never stops!

At T-ATP, we're reflecting on and incorporating the skills our Founder and Executive Director, Jasmine M. Jackson, learned from her NC education policy fellowship to continue advocating for #cybersecurityeducation and #digitalliteracy for all students throughout North Carolina and beyond.

Below are pictures from the March Washington, DC retreat, where our Founder and Executive Director worked with other fellows to advocate for #educationreform in North Carolina.

  6. : As The Accelerated Training Program (T-ATP) puts the final touches for the Winter Cybersecurity Workshop graduation, I want to thank the National Cyber League for allowing me to write an article describing T-ATP in their January/February newsletter.

The article's title is "Eradicating The Digital Divide, One Student At A Time." In the article, I discuss how my first job, Access to Software for All People (ASAP), set me on my IT/Cyber journey and inspired me to start my non-profit.

At the Winter Cybersecurity Workshop graduation ceremony, the accelerators will receive a certificate of completion and a laptop from our partner, E2D - Eliminate the Digital Divide. Watching the accelerators grow this past month and seeing them excitedly learn about #cyber and #digitalliteracy has been a rewarding experience.

We're always looking for new students and schools to partner with to teach cybersecurity education and digital literacy. If interested, please visit our website here: t-atp.org/
