Sierra Hull with Mason Via last Wednesday at Edmonds Center for the Arts. Great show, excellent musicians and songwriters. Bluegrass if you're into that sort of thing. But she closed the show with a rendition of Tears for Fears "Mad World." This line from the song touches me:

Last Sunday evening at Edmonds Center for the Arts: Colin James joined by Matt Anderson & Terra Lightfoot. Three Canadian musicians that are far more well known in their home country than here in the US, as far as I know. I had never heard of them, but I'm a superfan now. One of the best performances I've seen in a long time. What a weekend: two concerts, two dinners, and a 56 mile bicycle ride. Rodney Crowell, legendary country music singer-songwriter at Edmonds Center for the Arts last Thursday night. His guitarist at right was amazing. You’ve marched, you’ve chanted, you’ve made signs... Now what? Activists Assemble has an answer, covering next steps during the Festival of Activism. It’s a day of celebration and ideation focused around converting momentary outrage into sustained local action. Bringing together advocacy groups, experts, and neighbors for panel discussions on health and wellness, immigration, and housing, the single-day event pairs hands-on activities like voter registration and gun safety education with live music, dancing, and a strong “everyone’s welcome” ethos (especially those new to advocacy).

2 Line Eastside Bike Connector updated their map to include the new train stations opening today! If you’re seeing this on May 10th, you can go to the opening events!

Naturally, we’ve picked up the new version, and both Greater Northshore Bike Connector and MEGAMAP 1.7 – 10 May 2025 – are now available to download.

But this time, I have something to think about.

They've gone and changed their map key on me, and I'm not entirely sure what to do about that.
