  1. As far as Edict RPG is concerned, a lot of little things are getting done.

I am compiling ideas to get up to 50 rituals.

I wrote 20 mysteries for character creation.

I reworded several rule explanations to secretly put good GMing advice into the GMs mind.

I came up with a story set up for a new playtest adventure.

A wrote down a big list of rough monster ideas.

I created an image to showcase the new ways AOE's are drawn.

So yeah, lots of little things.

  2. Why would you not have a dictionary entry for just 東久留米? (Higashi Kurume) if you're going to list neighborhood names at all?

Why stick the common word 郵便局 (yuubin kyoku / post office) on it?

Some of the entries in EDICT are pretty randomly weird like this.

  3. A lot has been done on Edict RPG lately.

The character progression systems are pretty unique now instead of a standard leveling system.

The list of monster origins (categories) has been updated to be extremely flavourful.

One of the actions on the action sheet got replaced with something far cooler.

There are some interesting things you can gain from deals made with a fae.

I need to finish adding rituals and then I'll run another playtest.

  4. Buffed/replaced many attribute roll based actions and how strong weaknesses are based on solo combat testing.

    Replaced 4 starting gear.

Improved how character creation shifts to rebalance the players based on how many players are in the party.

Changed how "leveling up" and gaining max health effectively works.

Moved bonus damage from agility to its own stat based on agility for clarity.

Armour is now gear instead of max health.

    Changed how you learn rituals.

  5. Finally fully wrote a combat section for Edict I can playtest.

I do need to make some doodles for it though, and I should probably add examples.

  6. I've started working on a itch.io page, website page, discord channels, and feedback form for the eventual open playtest of Edict RPG.

No promises for timing as there are other parts of the game I need to finish first, but I am now thinking about how to publish a playtest version.

  7. General Edict RPG Playtest Notes

Everyone had fun, the most important metric.

The dice pool system works well, but the dice economy will need tweaking. Players are cautious about resting because it triggers a monster event.

The attributes need rebalancing. The favorite was muscle. Charm and agility got the short end of the stick.

Everyone used an ability. That's a clear improvement.

    My adventure building framework improved.

    Character creation went smoothly.

  8. I'm Testing Character Creation For Edict RPG, which I'm Designing.

  9. Made it slightly harder to focus all of your attribute dice into 1-2 attributes in the level up system.

Replaced a handful of the example edicts with better examples.

Printed the pdf and required sheets for the playtest.

Added Gear Keywords to the combat section of the quick rules summary.

Maximum health at level 1 is now determined by a set number based on your muscle dice. Thereafter it is a muscle roll.

Added guidelines for Edicts to the systems section of the design document.

  10. That pledge could provoke a dramatic #constitutional showdown, w/vast consequences for how the govt operates. If #Trump returns to office, these efforts are likely to turn typically arcane debates over “#impoundment#authority — or the president’s right to stop certain spending programs— into a major political flash point, as he seeks to accomplish via #edict what he cannot pass through #Congress.

  11. Since then, #Trump & his advisers have prepared an attack on limits on presidential spending authority. On his campaign site, Trump said he will push #Congress to repeal parts of the 1974 #law restricting the president’s #authority to spend federal $ w/o congressional approval. Trump also said he will unilaterally challenge the law by cutting #funding for certain programs, promising on his 1st day to order every agency to ID “large chunks” of #budgets that would be halted by presidential #edict

  12. I'm making a tabletop roleplaying game set in a dark medieval fantasy setting that is about folklore, fairytales, and mysteries.

Think the Witcher or the Brothers Grimm. I'm embracing the weird and strange parts of magic and traditions.

No release date yet, but I'm about 50 pages in and this is my second game release, so keep an eye out for it.
