The perfect bear's head and oyster mushrooms I didn't take home, the years I spent not knowing the mushrooms all around my favorite meditation spot were delicious trumpet chanterelles, and especially the pristine giant puffball in my neighbor's yard that I didn't steal.

I went hiking with @Knightky in the woods near Guelph. I saw something glowing white and round as a redhead’s untanned arse. I got soooo excited. Working on some little (around 2x3") #mushroom studies, for the upcoming Fairbanks Fungi Festival.
My goal is to get decent at enough varieties of local #EdibleMushrooms to paint a panorama of them all & do some limited ed. prints for the event (as well as end up with a bunch of little guys to sell).
(And yes, I know #AmanitaMuscaria aren’t really considered edible, but can’t have a booth of #MushroomArt without them? 🍄 :blobcatcoffee:)
