美國科技公司推 AI 工具 協助學校處理學生缺席問題
美國教育科技公司 Edia 最近推出一款人工智能（AI）工具，透過自動向家長發送定制的訊息，並且為高風險學生訂立介入計劃，減少學生長期缺席的問題。Edia 的出席率管理軟件連接學校的 SIS 學生資訊系統，能夠即時更新出席狀況，同時獲取家長電話號碼等個人資料。當 SIS 系統顯示新的缺席記錄，AI 工具會在 15 分鐘內向家長發送訊息，並根據需要自動翻譯成超過 100 種語言。

Bolles is a #DisabilityAmbassador in space and Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths ,#STEM, and was part of the first crew of #DisabledProfessionals that flew in zero-gravity under #MissionAstroAccess (an organization that promotes #disability in STEM and space). The other co-author is Dr. Thu Jennifer Ngo-Anh from the European Space Agency (ESA), who has served as Team Leader for ESA’s Human and #Robotic Exploration, responsible for coordinating ground-based and space-based science activities.
Asrar is also a national mentor for #Equity, #Diversity, #Inclusion, and #Accessibility #EDIA in primary care through an initiative under the Equity in #Health Systems Lab and College of Family #Physicians of #Canada.
