What a triumph.
Maybe even better than #EdenGolan's #Hurricane from last year, such an impressive step forward from trauma to hope, expressing all the pain of survival while stepping into the light again, despite of it all.
#Anewdaywillrise by #Yuval #Raphael is such a great, beautiful song. And what a voice, what a singer.
She deserves to win and it would be so great to see #Israel host the 80th #SongContest next year.

I just voted!
Please consider voting for Eden too!! 🎤🎵
She is not only representing Israel but in my opinion all that is good in this world. It should only be about the performance in such a contest but some in the world have made it all about hating someone simply because of who they are.
Eden has made us all proud, carrying herself with such grace, beauty, professionalism , and bravery. To perform as wonderfully as she has while facing death threats speaks for itself.
We love you Eden ❤️🇮🇱

🇮🇱 Good luck! 🇮🇱 בהצלחה /be-hats-la-'khah/ 💙🤍
So proud of you, Eden, and of the entire Israeli team - going through hardship that no other team has to endure.
You are incredibly strong, beautiful, and brave.
The song, titled Hurricane, expresses the emotional aftermath we are all going through since Oct of last year.
Good luck! And come back home safely.

Those outside of the Europe can vote now for the participants of the #Eurovision second semifinal.
#Israel’s entry by Eden Golan was denied twice because the lyrics were deemed too political, referencing the October 7th Supernova dance massacre committed by Hamas. Finally a version was accepted. I think the song stands well on its own but if you know the background it’s much more meaningful. I think the choreography of the dancers (some of which is included in the live stage version) is powerful.
About the music festival massacre: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Re’im_music_festival_massacre
A reminder that it was Hamas and associated terrorist groups that started the war on October 7th (bizarrely a lot of media seems to imply now that Israel started it). We know this because Hamas recorded and live-streamed much of their attack themselves: https://www.october7thattack.com/ (Warning: Graphic footage)
Israel’s entry into Eurovision, “Hurricane”, performed by Eden Golan: https://youtu.be/lJYn09tuPw4
The Eurovision Grand Final is this weekend. I’m expecting Switzerland to win but I hope to see Israel perform.
