    Having more or less the same opinion as Seth on that topic, I'd rather use #MagNic lights (magniclight.com/) to use #EddyCurrents in my bike's rims. (I recently discovered them on someone else's bike at the Critical Mass Zurich.)

  6. The key here is to use a fluctuating or moving magnetic field. It induces in any conducting material and both interact, making it possible to move non-magnetic conductors. This is what happens in induction motors. Here is another cool demo:
