Zijn er hier op de #nederlands #mastodon mensen die #ect electro convulsie #therapie hebben gedaan, en hun ervaringen met mij willen delen?
Beetje achtergrond, ik heb wat problemen met hersenen, en ik ben enorm bang dat deze therapie dat verergert. Maar het is ook 'de laatste optie' tot verbetering van andere klachten.
Ik heb over 2 weken een kennismaking, en ongetwijfeld dan ook een lotgenoten groep, maar ik wil graag al wat horen.

Today I told my psychiatrist that yes, I have had #biofeedback and they made me watch Boyz in the Hood. This was relevant because he was assessing me for #ECT . His face just.... crumbled. I laughed, then he laughed, but he was deeply troubled by this.

In face of #ClimateCrisis, countries in #Europe have reluctantly begun exiting the ECT due to lawsuits hindering #ClimateAction.
