Went to see #Metallica on their Detroit stop of the #M72 tour last night and boy do these old men still know how to bring the heavy. From the traditional #EcstasyOfGold opener straight into #CreepingDeath to the fire of #Fuel and the #MasterOfPuppets closer this was a perfect version of a Metallica live experience.
Related, I brought two different #earplugs as well as #AirPodsPro gen 2 and I didn’t even need to switch around between them: AirPods Pro in Adaptive mode did a _fantastic_ job of attenuating the Bad Highs while letting the physical experience of the Good Lows do their job. No ear exhaustion, no ominous ringing after🤘

Tonight’s #earworm is #EcstasyOfGold by #EnnioMorricone for the film #TheGoodTheBadAndTheUgly. I had to dig it out as the #MiracleWorkers theme (#CowboySoprano) is a bit of a *ahem* homage to Morricone’s goosebumping original. It’s a stunning piece of music.
