Last month, we shared our harvests with families and many children enjoyed healthy green meals. At (EYNU) we believe greens are nature’s medicine They fight hidden hunger, build strong bodies, and give mothers and children better health.
Some students learned how to grow their own food, and even left gardens thriving at home before returning to school Together, we’re growing a healthier, greener future for our communities

Hello friends, we safely traveled from Uganda to Kenya for our permaculture training. The journey was long but full of new experiences crossing the border and seeing new places. We are now hosted by Roland, a white man who has become a true native of Kenya, in Kitui division. Reaching the point of being hosted by a school for our services shows we are moving forward. I’m happy knowing I have value in this world 🌎. We are excited that many have heard about our new Jackfruit project and asked how it looks. Yesterday I visited Kaboga’s farm, found one, and enjoyed it while taking photos to share. Jackfruit trees bring impacts shade, fresh air, food & more. We are preparing seeds to donate to schools & communities. @haraldgeyer Thanks! As I shared, we’re not the ones making it it’s a school I visited today. I joined as they showed the process, but I don’t have full info yet. I may return to ask if the men who trained them have a website with #biochar instructions. In #Uganda, people mostly use #charcoal, firewood or #briquettes in improved stoves for #cooking. I’ll share more soon. #SustainableLiving #EcoYouth #ClimateAction

Today I visited a nearby place where they had a lesson on producing cooking products made from #biochar. These #eco solutions are placed in the stove and used for #clean cooking. They take a long time to burn, making them reusable and perfect for promoting #sustainableenergy and reducing #deforestation. It's a simple but powerful step in #climateaction, especially here in #Uganda where #greenliving matters so much. A great experience for us as #EcoYouth.
