Aiming this year to rationalise my energy use when cooking.
If something is being boiled then a steamer basket is going on top. If something can be microwaved without compromising it then I will. Today I managed an entire dinner (vegan joint, cauliflower, potatoes, onions and vegan lardons) in a single tray in the oven all for the same length of time.
The bonus of it is leaving the oven door open while it's cooling to warm up the kitchen ☺️

@rupertmadeley so true! A great thing everyone can do to be a little bit more #sustainable is to delete emails regularly as all of that has to be stored somewhere
