Is there anyone here using a MVHR system? (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery)

That's where incoming fresh air is prewarmed using a heat exchange from the outgoing warm air.

Is there a commercially available but inexpensive unit available in the UK?

I'm a bit worried about getting enough of both warmth and fresh air this coming winter and want to prepare.

I've seen a DIY design, but I don't want to do that if an affordable premade alternative exists.

"Our EcoHouse sits on 2 acres, featuring Hamilton’s first #CommunityGarden , a mini-forest, #RainGardens, #SolarPanels, #PermeablePavers, and more. These grounds require ongoing maintenance to continue serving as an ecological demonstration space for the community.

In this session, we will learn about any of the following:#PlantIdentification, #biodiversity in the local community, plant science, local green infrastructure initiatives, and more! Gardening tasks can include #invasiveSpecies removal, #mulching planting, #watering, seed sorting, aerating the soil, and other maintenance.

No experience required! All tools provided, but you may bring your own.
We will be meeting every Monday from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm!"
