Christchurch is the most beautiful, easy going, #cycle friendly city I’ve lived in. So much is in walking distance, the bus network fantastic. Yet people are addicted to their cars and constantly complain and stress about parking - which was only temporary and abundant because of the earthquakes. Everyone complains about the buses yet when I ask them what the problem is or when they last caught a bus, they don’t know.
