The EU's top court ruled Tuesday that anti-LGBTQ legislation in Hungary breached the bloc's rules, in a move hailed as a "landmark" victory by Brussels. The European Commission, 16 of 27 member states and the European Parliament took Hungary to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) over the law, in what has been billed as the largest human rights case in the bloc's history. Hungary violated EU law when it banned children from accessing LGBTQ+ content, the EU’s top court ruled Tuesday, ordering Budapest to scrap the legislation.
Viktor Orbán had banned mentions of homosexuality in media accessible to children and outlawed Pride marches.

The European Court of Justice rules that online gamblers can sue for compensation if betting is illegal in their home country.
They can seek compensation if they lost money when gambling was illegal in their home country, even if the laws have since changed.
The ruling paves the way for a German citizen seeking reimbursement for losses incurred and could pave the way for others to reclaim losses.

“Peut-on porter un regard éclairé sur l’antisémitisme? “Jean Caune propose une approche pluridimensionnelle de l’antisémitisme.
Il s’agit de questionner la nature, l’histoire, l’actualité, et le renouveau, de l’antisémitisme.
Et ceci, aussi, en fonction de cet événement historique et tragique qu’a été le 7 Octobre.Il convient de proposer les éléments culturels, sociaux, économiques, politiques… pour comprendre cette idéologie mortifère qu’August Bebel, un dirigeant socialiste allemand, dès le début du XX e siècle, a appelé le “Socialisme des imbéciles”.
Il faut se demander si, depuis la fin du XX e siècle, des formes nouvelles de l’antisémitisme n’émergent pas.
En particulier celle prise par un antisionisme qui met en question l’existence même d’un État d’Israël, défini comme un État juif.Dénoncer la montée d’un “nouvel antisémitisme”, n’est pas la seule affaire des juifs, c’est l’affaire de tous les français et de toutes les sensibilités politiques. 2. The Court therefore is able to put blind trust into a #DPRC that is subordinate to a complete nutcase of a Trumpist Attorney-General who disregards the #RuleOfLaw and #HumanRights.
