Finished Duncan Mackay's #Echolands & it's wonderful!
Duncan's passion really shines through & you feel like you're on a journey with him, tracing past along A roads - into sites & buildings - that now mark spot of 2000 yr old events.
It's a well evidenced book, but never arrogant or over confident in new theories. The ideas make sense & it's great to see arch evidence & walkovers used in support.
Most of all, it's a damn good, entertaining read - that's no mean achievement! 😊
