Finished Echoes of Wisdom tonight.
I standby that the game might be a bit underrated. But by the end, I think it could have done a lot more with Zelda's powers and that the idea could be revisited with some stronger design.

I beat Echoes of Wisdom :blobyeengrin:
It was very extremely good. :blobbear_heartcute: Easily one of my favorite Zelda games I've played. I'm mad at myself for not picking it up when it was released (although admittedly I still haven't picked it up, I just borrowed my friend's cartridge to play it on their Switch 2 :soft_dab: )
But yeah, it was a lot more puzzle-focused than combat-focused, which I personally liked a lot. The puzzles worked really well with the emergent gameplay, which was really fun and a lot more core to the experience in ways that I'm sure Nintendo really wanted it to be in BotW and TotK. There were a few instances where you could cheese or brute-force puzzles, but not in the same way as TotK where most puzzles could be skipped with a simple bomb arrow. :corgi_wtf1:
I love top-down Zelda for how all of the puzzles are quickly solvable once you understand the solution, and this game was really good for that. Also all the characters and world-building were great. :pupper_wag: I had a good heckin' time. :dog_spin:

The Legend of #Zelda: #EchoesOfWisdom was just the perfect thing for me of late, I really enjoyed playing it through.

I picked up Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. It’s fantastic. Classic top down, like Link to the Past or Link’s Awakening. But you get to play Zelda and she’s a summoner. You get to summon monsters you’ve defeated. Plus crates and beds and things. Seriously, I think this is one of my favorites.

家帰ったら任天堂から荷物届いてた。プラチナポイントが貯まってたからグッズ交換してみたんだけど。「ゼルダ姫 手配書トートバッグ」は思ったよりしっかりプリントされてるやつだった。😅
あと #SwitchSports のハンドタオルは良かったんだけど。カービィのミニタオルハンカチは思ったより小さかった。

Overall, a solid entry in the series. I enjoyed myself the whole time, constantly looking for new echoes. Felt a little short, but on the other hand it didn't overstay its welcome. A good foundation to expand upon in the future!
I'd recommend seasoned players looking for a challenge to play on heroic mode.
