On June 10, the EBMUD Board adopted a $3.2 billion two-year budget, and associated rates and charges for Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027. EBMUD water rates will increase, on average, 6.5% in both 2026 and 2027. EBMUD General Manager Clifford Chan has now recommended proposed rates and charges for Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027.
