This is #EB7 (e-be-seven) - a character from my world. Their peculiar name is a "translation" to make it more accessible for vocal species. EB7's true name is a series of electric impulses: 111010110111

#Inktober - Dream.
I decided to do my own interpretation of the prompts, mixing them with characters and lore from my world.

[#EB7] has been dreaming about the surface since they were a child. They heard stories of the endless light and the dangers beyond the glittering wall. They didn't stop until their dream came true.

...[#EB7] is notoriously cautious, where [#Fjäks] is courageous and curious. which means, in this case, he got too close. usually, EB7 would send a bolt of electricity, for good measure, but strangely it's not working in this foreign environment. they had to resort to a more practical method to show their strength. and yes, they will soon find out that electric shocks work after all..

that's one of the first encounters between [EB7] and [Fjäks Jegir]. they have no means of communication, as #EB7 uses electric impulses & bioluminescence and #Fjäks uses vokal speech and body language. both have never seen an individual like the other before. it's like meeting an alien...

when the [Karyta] first reached surface, they encountered a whole new world - including the [#Arka], the land dwelling species of the planet.

oh I don't know. probably they will "call" after you: what's wrong? but their call is shockingly harmful. creatures like humans aren't used to electric currents and #EB7 certainly doesn't know that (yet). so, it depends, stay calm or run fast - especially if you are in contact with water.

when I reached the surface, the world I knew had come to an end. above me, like liquid stone, loomed a wall. it moved rhythmically with the water around me. it shimmered and spun, loud and bright. I felt that overwhelming dizziness again. I saw the brightness. it called to me.

[#EB7] (pronounced "e-be-seven") is a [#Karyta], which is a water-based alien species that originates from [Yr'takia]. their strange name "EB7" is some sort of abbreviation for [111010110111], which is even stranger.

the reason for this is the Karyta's way of communication. they do not "talk" by using acoustic signals, but a combination of fast electric impulses and bioluminescence. the latter mostly conveys emotions...
