"Setting up the scene. [...] not a lot of room for improvisation."
It's been a bit since I've run it, but I can offer two things:
1. The intent of the game doesn't seem to lean towards more than that. It's a "beer & pretzels" slaughter playground.
2. If you want it to be more than that, go for it! Add to the established scenes, making room for improv. At the bad art museum? Add some kind of magical artifact. Innocent bystanders to protect, and gain intel from. Etc.

Ein total abgedrehtes Splatter- und Gore-RPG, bei dem man Vampire spielt, die sich durch die Nazis 1943 in Paris schnetzeln.
Hab’s schon mal gespielt und musste es jetzt endlich haben :rm_nerd: -
Haben Eat the Reich gespielt und es war ziemlich lustig. Das Prinzip gefällt mir sehr gut!
Gab allerdings n paar Sachen, die ich nicht verstanden hab. Warum gibt es social skills, wenn man damit keine Nazis töten kann? Dann will man ja eigentlich straight zum Eiffelturm rennen, warum sollte man je andere Locations aufsuchen? Es hat sich an manchen Stellen einfach irgendwie halbfertig angefühlt.
Mag auch sein, dass wir es für heute nur angekratzt hatten. #pnpDE #EatTheReich

Die neuen Mitspieler für #Hexxen1733 sind echt super gewesen gestern.
Und so ergab es sich auch, dass ich kommenden Montag zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlage: Ich komme selbst mal wieder zum Spielen und lasse jemand anderes leiten. Und ich kann #EatTheReich ausprobieren! 🤩
Voll der Volltreffer, würde ich sagen. Ein neuer Mitspieler würde das so gerne mal leiten. Den Wunsch erfüllen wir gern. XD

Ran our second session of #EatTheReich this evening – was a bit underprepared after a very full week, but honestly two hours of heavily armed, super-powered vampire guerrillas shredding their way through hundreds of nazis turned out to be exactly what I needed today

Eat the Reich machte wirklich unfassbar viel Spaß. Vom Lesen allein war mir das nicht klar, aber es ist wirklich ein pures Erzählrollenspiel. Das geht so weit, dass die Spielleitung kaum Einfluss auf das Geschehen hat.
Ich würde es jederzeit wieder spielen. (Aber nur mit den richtigen Leuten, aufgrund des Themas.)
Vor dem Leiten habe ich bei diesem Spiel jedoch immer noch großen Respekt. Glaube, das ist richtig schwierig und anstrengend. Stelle es mir auch etwas fad vor. -
Ich besitze jetzt auch das #Rollenspiel, in dem man #Vampire spielt, deren Ziel es ist, Adolf Hitlers Blut zu trinken. 😎

Neu im Rollenspiel-Grab: #EatTheReich - ein Indy-RPG über Vampir-Commandos in 1943 im Kampf gegen Nazis. Von Grant Howitt und Will Kirkby.
Das Spiel hatte mich bei dem Satz "You are a unit of crack vampire commandos coffin-dropped into occupied Paris".
